How can I know more about ASTD-SV
products?
We want you to experience our teleseminars and
other products so you can sell them with enthusiasm. Come to a teleseminar
or buy a tape to hear for yourself.
How much does ASTD-SV pay in referral
commissions?
* 15% on any teleseminars or teleseminar tapes your referral buys
from us
How often do you pay commissions?
Affiliates are paid quarterly. The books are closed on the last day
of the quarter, so commissions will be paid within 30 days of the books
closing. You can check on your commissions by logging in to http://www.profcs.com.
You will also receive monthly recaps of your commissions, so you'll
know how much you'll be receiving in your quarterly check.
Can my ASTD chapter become an Affiliate?
Absolutely! This is a great "no work" fund raiser for your
chapter. Just put a link on your chapter Web site, include it in your
ezine and your printed materials, and your chapter will earn commissions
from every sale that comes from your link.
How much money can I make as an
affiliate for ASTD-SV ?
Ultimately that is up to you, and how widely you share your positive
experiences about the ASTD-SV products.
We are absolutely committed in helping you develop and grow your sales
and earn. After all, when you make money, we make money!
Think for just a moment and you'll realize that all of your members
could benefit from the ASTD-SV teleseminars and products. Well then,

When might I not earn commission?
By promoting ASTD-SV products to your members, it doesn¹t mean
you then are entitled to commission from all sales made to that client's
organization. For example, if you send a recommendation to a friend
at IBM and she buys a teleseminar through your link, you would get
a commission from that sale. If someone else also sent an email to
a friend at IBM and that person bought a tape, you would not be entitled
to a commission from that sale, as it didn¹t come through you.
If your IBM friend likes the teleseminar so much, she tells a friend
at GE, you would get commission only if your IBM friend included your
link and the GE friend used that link to access our Web site. That¹s
the only way the affiliate program software can track your commissions -
any sales must be through that link.
Please do not use mass spam emails
to promote our products or services
Guess what? Any speaker, trainer or consultant could benefit from
ASTD-SV products. So the next step is easy -- find them, and tell them
about what they're missing. Right?
Wrong! Unless you know these people, what you are doing is spamming
them.
Yes, they really could use our unique products, and yes, it's tempting
to contact just anyone who's email address you can get, but...
Don't.
Don't spam. Ever. Please.
What is spam? It's email:
1. To someone you don't know,
2. Trying to sell them something.
ASTD-SV Affiliate program is a high-quality professional referral
system. It's a great way to let your colleagues know about a superb
range of products.
It's not a multi-level-marketing scheme, or a hard sales activity.
We have a straightforward approach to spam:
If someone complains to us that you have spammed them, we will investigate
the complaint, and if we feel the complaint is justified, we will close
down your Affiliate Account immediately. I hope I don't need to tell
you how strict we are about this.
If you don't know the individual to whom you are writing, then please
don't mention ASTD-SV. We don't want that sort of referral.
The good news is, you do know many people who need our unique products,
and if you become an Affiliate we're going to give you the tools and
resources to reach them!
